Critical Thinking and Problem Solving - Each mission contains a problem solving activity that requires students to think critically and find unique solutions.

Communication - Students must communicate with one another to accomplish the mission. Many missions also require a written or oral presentation as a solution.

Collaboration - Each mission is a team activity, and students must work together to succeed. They reflect on their teamwork skills as part of each mission.

Creativity and Innovation - Using common materials students exercise their innovation skills as they solve historical and social challenges.
