Engage students in 24 lessons about the events and challenges of American History. Students build connections to the past as they learn about early American cultures, colonial and revolutionary America, westward expansion, industrialism, and 20th century challenges. They construct understandings about the past as they work to solve problems for William Penn, John Paul Jones, James Madison, Mary Cady Stanton, and Theodore Roosevelt. Students learn as they build railroads, create games, invent codes, and construct tools. In Mind Missions, students solve the problems of yesterday as they prepare to meet the challenges of tomorrow. |
